About Me

My name is Matt Thomas and I’m a 22 year-old photographer from the Boston area. In ’07 I moved to Purdue University in Indiana, to continue my education.

While there I was shooting a lot of professional paintball and that’s what sparked my interest in sports photography from there I went on to work for Purdue’s student paper “The Exponent” covering various Division 1 sporting events such as baseball, basketball, and volleyball. I’m currently back with ”The Exponent” as a Senior Photographer. 

Recently, after a trip to Austin, Texas in Spring of 2011 for the music festival South by Southwest, I found a new passion for music and another aspect of photography.

But I’m back at Purdue now just being a student again; working, taking photos everyday, and enjoying my surroundings.
